A family friend (about my age) is wanting to get a place to live in London. Given that several people on my friends list have done this in the last few years, I was hoping some of you might be able to offer some suggestions to him. To any Warlord players, the person in question is Matt Ledgerwood, who used to play (came to GenCon for it the same year I did, I think). Either suggestions here that I can pass onto him, or I can put you in touch with him if you want to discuss it directly.
While it's fairly vauge, he was apparently possibly thinking of something in the region of £600 a month.
In other news, I'm enjoying having no real responsibilities to deal with till term starts. I do need to get some Maelstrom costume stuff done, but that shouldn't be too hard, and is rather less worrying than a "get this done or repeat a year" deadline.

Blimey, haven't seen Ledge for ages-be happy to help him if I can (schedule swamped but you know this), feel free to give him any/all contact details for me.
I used gumtree.com to find this place, and that and local papers seems to be the best bet still, there are other sites that help. £600 a month he should be able to get either a basic level flat or a reasonable shared room closer in, depends on what he's looking for really.

I'll pester her to make sure she's still on the market for an extra body. She's punk/industrial in the "I will murder any girl I see wearing a pink T-Shirt with 'punk' written on it and turn her bones into an outfit!" sense of the word, but she's lovely and likes cats...
